While it might seem a little odd, there can be something rather beautiful in the way plant life breaks down and decays with age or with disease. I discovered that when I was looking for something different to photograph in my garden. Today I noticed that there were a couple of leaves on one of the climbing roses (either New Dawn or Wild Eve) that had succumbed to disease and age and the sunlight was shining through them.
