When I was at the RHS Gardens in Harlow Carr the other day I saw this alpine in the Alpine House amid the rocks. The colour of the flowers is so vibrant, I just had to take a photograph of them. They are Corydalis solida 'Fire Cracker' and are, according to the RHS, early winter flowering
