CLIFTON PARK, WALLED GARDEN, ROTHERHAM

The walled garden at Clifton Park, Rotherham, is only about two years old and so the fruit trees grown cordon style against the walls have not yet had time to mature.  There is a small greenhouse and various groups are allowed to tend to the plots within the walls, with varying success.  It was interesting to see just how much could be grown though within those high walls.  I've never actually seen artichokes growing before and there was also what I think was angelica, another first for me.
