SEMPERVIVUM 'PUMILUM'

Last year I planted a terracotta container with succulents.  I prefer these fleshy-leaved plants to touch-me-not cacti with their unfriendly barbs, and these do have lovely flowers.  When I bought Sempervivum 'Pumilum' last year I had no idea what the flowers were going to look like and bought it merely on the look of its lovely fat cushion of leaves.  Now it has flowered and this is the result.  The flowers are no more than 2.5cm (1in) in diameter but very pretty.
