CAMPANULA 'PUNCTATA'

Campanula punctata has large, stripey-pink, bell-shaped flowers and fits well into my perennial border.  It's certainly very different to Campanula Medium White and Campanula persicifolia 'Alba' and variety is what I want.  The label says that this clump-forming perennial has a nodding pink, bell-shaped flower,  speckled red inside, and is suitable for sunny borders and should be planted in sandy, well-drained soil.  It flowers from late spring to mid summer and achieves a height of 30cm (12in) and a spread of 45cm (18in).   Mine is planted in a loamy soil at the top end of my garden where it receives full sun and has good drainage.  It seems to be doing just fine.My soil is a clay soil but has had a lot of compost added to it.
