Just look at this Lewisia tweedyi 'Rosea'. It flowers year after year in its terracotta pot from spring to autumn but I've never seen it so packed with buds and flowers at one time. Wow. It likes to be well drained so I mixed gravel into the potting compost and gravel around the base of the plant.
