COREOPSIS 'SUNRAY'

What a sunny dazzler is Coreopsis 'Sunray'.  I've been wondering exactly what the flowers would be like when they opened because I bought the plant before it came into bud and you don't always get what you see on the label.  This flower has outshone the label.  The flower is lovely and the plant is full of bud.

The label describes Coreopsis 'Sunray' as a clump forming perennial with daisy like yellow double flowers on serrated foliage.  It requires full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  It flowers late spring to early summer and achieves a height of 45cm (18in) and a spread of 30cm (12in).
